LAYTON LOCATION OPENING IN THE FALL
Due to construction delays, our location in Layton will not be available until the FALL. We’ll continue enrolling for Layton, however those classes will be combined with our Ogden classes and held at the Ogden location until the Layton space is ready to go. We apologize for this inconvenience, and hope that you’ll still enroll your child and come and sing with us. We have some really fun and memorable experiences planned for the next few months.
WHO WE ARE
Amplify Choirs, formerly named "KIDS are MUSIC," has been providing transformative musical instruction and experiences for nearly 43 years. These experiences aim to improve musicality, create meaningful connections and boost overall self-confidence. Registration is now open until March 14th for our Spring Classes.
Choral Groups
Our choral/music classes are designed to provide comprehensive vocal and music training as students receive once-a-week instruction with age-appropriate music and curriculum. All classes are taught by instructors with intensive training and real-world experience. Our older performance choirs will have opportunities to record in a professional recording studio and participate in the creation of high-quality music videos.
Theater Groups
Our theater/production groups learn high-energy, fast paced singing and dancing from Pop to Broadway, Swing to Rock-n-Roll. They learn dance technique in jazz, lyrical ballet, hip-hop, and more. All groups are taught by professionally trained and experienced instructors in vocal, dance, choreography, and theater.
*Students must be enrolled in a choral group to participate in our theater groups.

Improve Musicality
During our classes, we work on musicality: rhythm, timing, phrasing and pitch. We discuss different musical styles and help students become more well-rounded singers and performs.
Harmonization & Vocal Range
Learning to sing in harmony helps students develop their pitch accuracy and improve their overall singing ability. We work to improve vocal range by teaching how to sing higher or lower notes.
Create Meaningful Connections
By singing in our choir, students get to meet new people and make lasting friendships. These important connections give our students a sense of belonging and purpose. We have fun making music together.
Opportunities to Perform & Record
Our students will get a taste of what it’s like to be a professional musician. Students will have opportunities to record in a professional recording studio, and be in high-quality, fun music videos.
